Details:
The Data House is a new building on the Mercantec Campus in Viborg for training data programmers.
The purpose of the building is essentially to create some rooms with glare-free light that does not cause reflections on the programmers' computer screens. Therefore, the building was designed as a large light distribution box, with a long, double-height light well in the middle and a minimum of low-lying façade windows, so that the rooms receive glare-free light from both sides. In addition, daylight and acoustics can be regulated by curtains on both sides of the rooms.
The walls are clad with perforated aluminium sinusoidal sheets, which enrich the office landscape with a range of valuable details and improved acoustics.
