Reference 60: FREDERIKSKAJ Kopenhagen (DK)
An unusual copper facade with two textures. Smooth flat-faced slot-in panels and MN’s wellTEC® brand profiled architectural cladding sheets wrap the façade of the Frederikskaj apartments located within Copenhagen’s erstwhile docklands. The combination of modern architectural language and copper materials evokes perfectly the historic copper towers and roofs of the waterfront. Warmth and comfort radiate from the copper’s characteristic rich brown colours.

Details:
MN Metall and KME Architectural Metals, working in close co-operation, developed the details of this special copper façade’s dual textures, and prepared panels and profiled elements in advance for a façade mockup.
Thereafter all panels, connecting profiles and sinusoidal sheets were prefabricated to the installation schedule and delivered ‘just in time’ to site. Effective in-process quality control achieved the required tolerances and thereby ensured cost-effective installation on-site.
